70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz
Today is the 70th Aniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, one of the worst and most shameful moments in human history, and there are several lessons human beings need to learn, then the 6 million and the others did not die a horrid death in vain
We humans- the whole of humanity must acknowledge the terrible depths to which humans can sink - their basest instincts must never be allowed to triumph again.
We humans must remember that every person counts, every human being has value and a right to life
We human must never blindly follow orders if those orders include cruetly or injustice
No one is above the law
We must share everything we can and always support each other
All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing
No matter how attractive an idea is to solve temporary economic woes, or how attractive a leader appears, and how easy it is to blame everyone else and every other group, everyone should stop and think. We can always choose a just and fair and inclusive path, we should welcome the stranger in our midst. No one should ever hurt a child, ever, nor harm anyone else.
Capital punishment is always wrong, always: Cruelty is always wrong: Shunning another human being is always wrong- always.
Barbarism shames us all.
Let us ensure there is never another genocide, no more executions in any country in the world. No more hatred.
