Description of overview of what we do

We are seeking people who wish to further the bigger picture of either and or Social justice, Environmental Justice and or Economics Reform. Our trust board has trustees from all around the world, from about 48 countries with team members from Bhuttan, Ubbeckistan, Bangladesh to Brazil, Columbia and Ethiopia. Our board is colourful and non standard.

Our team members tend to be people who are interdisciplinary, have done a variety of things, for example physics and art, or refugees or their families, working with or being travellers, Professors who find at the top of their Profession it still doesnt help them change the world in the way they wanted to, mothers, campaigners, writers, artists, photographers, teachers, researchers, biologists, conservationists, economists at all levels, administrators, linguists, networkers, campaigners, multi professional people, alternative life-stylers, poets, animal lovers, tree huggers, scientists, engineers, geologists, people who just want to help- privileged people and people with severe challenges of all kinds and all sorts. People at the very top of their Profession, Nobel Prize and other prize winners or people just starting out or people frustrated and wanting to further their careers and kick start it.

International teams working together across the world from all parts of the world We fully use digital networking so most of the posts can be done from anywhere in the world with the use of a computer. We use skype, gotomeeting and many other means of communication including email, facebook, twitter, pinterest and academia.edu and any others available. We encourage you to work from home or your own office or from anywhere in the world. Our trustee meetings so far have all been in the UK with people joining us from as far away as Uzbeckistan, Nepal, Latin America and India to take part.

New Trustees

Role Number TV1

We are seeking 5 new Trustees

We also especially need Trustees and volunteers for Clerical and administrative activities, adult teaching, editing, books management and fund raising experience. Legal experience, lawyers, company secretary, financial advisors, venture capital, share issues, investments etc. Managing volunteers, volunteers.

Please note Trustees are not paid for being trustees and the posts are voluntary. Meetings are 2 times per year in London, Oxford and or Reading in Southern England

Trustees are requested also to attend our annual Green Economics Institute Conference held every year at The University of Oxford, usually in March. The next one is expected to be in March 2016. Initially a probationary period of 1 year, then 2 year terms by reappointment of the Chair of Trustees.

For this wave of new Trustees, we would like them to be able to help with one of our areas of activity and to do some voluntary work within that area. This might involve 3 hours work 3 times a month ie 9 hours work a month.

Due to expansion of the Trust we are now seeking an experienced and motivated trustee to join our existing team. There are 20 trustees currently.

We are seeking new Volunteers

Due to expansion of the Charity we are now seeking an experienced and motivated volunteers to join our existing team.

We are looking for Volunteers with one or more of the following skills or experience: Conferences, Books Management, sales or production,editing, commisioning, marketing & advertising, e book development, academic journal set up and development, Teaching or lecturing administration and or college management and development, qualifications management or administration, overseas student support, Research set up and development, Campaigning and its management.

We also especially need volunteers for Clerical and administrative activities, adult teaching, editing, books management and fund raising experience.
